Nikon D3100 - Written Assignment

John Greengo, a photographer, shows us how to operate the Nikon D3100 and various lens options for it, along with options how to operate them. He shows us useful features on it such as the focus ring, zoom ring, the hood mount, the focal lenth, the lens info, the lens mount index, the cpu contacts, and the various filter threads. He teaches us about the various options that the camera has, some of them being the zoom (in and out), various options for focus, along with automatic functions and full time automatic functions, or if one desires everything to be automatic but one setting he shows us how to do that. He walks us through the image protect, the diopter, the command dial, the live view, the video record, the multi selected, the speaker, the card lights, and how to operate each and every button (along in what situations those buttons would be appropriate to use in). I also learned the various forms of flash the Nikon D3100 has, with some being the auto, auto slow, auto rear, and no auto, manual, manual slow, manual rear, and a mix of both. This is a very useful video regardless if you have this camera or not. If you have the camera, obviously it's helpful, but even if you don't have the camera it is a very good introductory video to various functions of the camera and various settings it has; this video is very useful for really getting to know your camera.
