I really like the photo titled "Bulb" by Pamela Serrano from Mrs. Oskay's beginning photography class inside the show. I really enjoy the way that it is ambiguous as to whether it is taken by a worm's eye view or a bird's eyes view. It features a darkened room with a darkened bulb (or it could just be that the light or colors are reversed so it gives it a much different effect. In this photo, the light bulb's insides seem to be darkened, and the only thing that seems to be on is the part that receives the electricity in the inside. The shape of the area of the bulb that lights up forms into a C, either by accident or because it was set up that way. The area that surrounds the bulb seems to be a sort of velvet texture or fabric that adds to the way the light bulb and its surroundings seem to contrast each other. This is a very good picture and I hope it wins.

Street Photography - Written Assignment
The good thing about street photography is that it allows us to take pictures of several scenes happening at once. It allows us to freeze a moment in time and see several things happening at once. For example, we could take an aerial view of a busy street and it would allow us to see various things. People in cars racing by to do whatever it is that they were planning to do on that day, which could be as simple as picking up milk to driving to their wedding. We could also see people boarding the bus for their daily commute, people walking by or running because of various reasons. Street photography also captures the way of life for the people around that area, and is useful for figuring out how the local people live their lives. It is a very good tool that captures the life of the common man throughout history. For example, photos in the 1920s give us a good idea what people dressed like and basically help us figure out who they were before.

360 Cam - Written Assignment
The Kodak PIXPRO SP360 is a very useful tool similar to more famous alternatives such as the GoPro, but the PIXPRO is able to capture the area around you, although I don't really think it's completely 360 degrees. This device is useful for capturing a complete landscape around you, for showing to those who care about your vacation where you went. The device captures the world around you in high definition and with crisp, clear colors. The device also can record sound, making it useful for your viewers to really get the feeling that they're there. The device is a very useful gadget which will surely prove to be a fierce competitor in the market.

jkphotoart.com - Written Assignment
I really enjoy this photo because it's obviously near the beach and you can see how it's close to the beach by the house on the hill and the heavy fog around it, unless it's scattered clouds in which case i'm wrong. You can see the grass growing on the hill along with the moss growing on the rails and steps. This is a great show because it captures everything the photographer most likely meant to capture. It captures the shadows, the moss, the clouds, the house on the hill (most likely an older model as it seems victorian-like) and the sand on the beach. I really enjoy the colors of the photography and I would like to learn how to take pictures just like these.
